A tragic end to the search for a missing man at a popular swimming spot.
The international tourist, in his 20s, was reported missing on Sunday afternoon after he fell into the water at Babinda Falls and failed to resurface.
A search was immediately launched, involving police, SES, Queensland Fire Department Swift Water Rescue crews and the police helicopter.

The search was suspended overnight and resumed early Monday morning.
Around 11am the man’s body was found in the water.
Formal identification is underway and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
