Two people have been charged over a neighbourhood fight at Parramatta Park.
Police were called to a disturbance at a property in Grove Street around 5.30pm Tuesday.
It’s alleged a 62-year-old man and a 48-year-old man got into fight after the older man told the other to quiet down.
The younger man is accused of hitting the older man with a stick leaving him with a cut to his arm.
A 53-year-old woman went to intervene however a 42-year-old woman came out of another property and punched the older woman twice in the head.
The 53-year-old woman sustained bruising and swelling to her face, with both victims needing medical treatment.
Both the 48-year-old Bungalow man and the 42-year-old Cairns woman were charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm.
They are both set to face the Cairns Magistrates Court on November 9.
