The forensic crash unit is investigating a serious crash between a motorbike and a vehicle at Redlynch.
Police allege a 51-year-old man driving a blue BMW sedan performed a U-turn and collided with a Yamaha motorbike, at 6.30pm on Sunday, on the Redlynch Intake Road.
The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old, was seriously injured and was taken to Cairns Hospital for treatment.

Any witnesses to the crash of anyone with CCTV or dash camera vision of this crash, is urged to contact investigating officers.
