An active group of people with Parkinson’s disease in Cairns playing “Parky Pong”. Parky Pong is a modified form of Table Tennis that encourages movement & exercise & enjoy a social outing while playing a friendly game of ping pong. Played every Tuesday between 9:30 & 11:30am at the Cairns Table Tennis academy, 99 Sheridan St. They would like to invite anyone with PD or other neurological disorders to feel free to attend & give it a go. Partners, carers & friends are also invited to attend & play, the more the merrier. Parkinson’s Ping Pong is being played worldwide & has been proven to be a very beneficial & fun activity to help folk suffering with PD.
