A 44-year-old man has been charged over an alleged stabbing at Bungalow.
Police will allege the man approached a second 44-year-old man and stabbed him with a knife to the upper back, at a Morehead Street address around 5.10pm on Friday.
A local man was transported to Cairns Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police arrested a 44-year-old man at the scene, and declared the property a crime scene.
The man has been charged with acts intended to maim/disfigure/disable.
He was expected to appear before Cairns Magistrates Court on Saturday.
