The body of a person has been pulled from the water in Cairns this morning.
Paramedics assessed the person who has suffered critical injuries, after they reportedly fell from a wharf onto the rocks below on Marlin Parade around 2.45am.

Police are investigating and will prepare a report for the coroner.
It comes the day after a snorkeller died on the Great Barrier Reef off Cairns.
The man’s body was found at Saxon Reef at 12pm yesterday.
A Queensland police spokesperson says investigations are underway into the circumstances surrounding his death, however it is believed non-suspicious.
